Our 2400 is combined (straight or edit). - type vs edit Posted: Aug 17th, 2017 - 7:07 pm In Reply to: Just a note that 1700 lines is straight typing (with abbreviations) - MT
I can type about as fast as I can edit. I compared the type vs edit on my most recent pay period (just happened to have equal values for each this time so it made it easy to compare). 8K lines edit vs type: straight typing 8K took me 2 more hours than 8K edited. FOr twice the pay, I'd rather straight type ANY day! I bet the forced abbreviations does slow things down/hurt the lines though!
