If it is your personal computer and you own it, you would have to sell it to M-Modal and then have them lease it to you which makes no sense. My guess is that this applies to new hires or people whose computers don't meet their software specs. It kind of makes sense if you want to keep your work life and your personal life separate. When I was a hospital employee working at home they furnished the computer and we weren't permitted to use it for anything else, they don't want viruses and unwanted files on the network. The OP may have been looking for a reaction and it worked.
