ChartNet , Demographic Pay, and Venting - Tired

Posted: Feb 14th, 2017 - 4:44 pm

If the line count does not include headers/footers for ChartNet and you are having to do demographics, wouldn't that entail you to get line count for the demographics to get paid or in ChartNet are we not compensated for filling in the time consuming demographics? Does anyone have ChartNet experience?

What companies pay you to do demographics or are we getting more ripped off by saying 0.04 cents per line includes the time it takes you to do demographics now?

When I worked at other companies there was anywhere between 3-5 lines added per report to deal with demographics. Are there companies out here that still compensate for time and work you do that is not clocked?

This is especially challenging for doing numerous splits for echoes/EEGs and after doing them you go out of the system to look to ensure they sent, you have your work calling you/emailing you, none of which is compensated and takes from your production time which you get in trouble for.

Also, has anyone had a company tell them after their state's minimum wage went up to get up less, don't get a cup of coffee, don't go to the bathroom, don't eat at your desk. That YOU (the MT) most definitely has to work faster to make up for your state for having the audacity to increase their state's minimum wage because if they do, you better watch our or YOU the MT can be fired for not speeding up to make the new increase in minimum wage that regular workers can expect without hassle (and most assuredly with a smile on their face).
