No one would ever be fired for that, and if they were headed out of town or any other emergency, they would have found a way to help her. Rumors are insane here. The person I checked with is honest. I know her outside of KS because I worked with her for many years at a hospital. She told me the only reason someone is ever fired is for poor quality, horrible attitude or not showing up for work. Those are all good reasons to me.
