It is not a matter of being afraid to get fired. To me, it is a matter of integrity. If I work for a company, I owe allegiance as long as I am employed. If I do not want to work for them because of pay issues or other issues, I feel it is my responsibility to do it the right way - give a notice and quit. If everyone had joined your strike - this company would likely lose accounts. Maybe you don't care about that or would like to see them hurt. However, that would make matters worse for everyone. The ones who chose to ride it out and try to help rather than kicking them when they are down. I have had late pay, but I have always been paid so far. If that stops, I will give notice and resign and go elsewhere. I do not wish the company to fail. If you do, something is wrong with you. There are not enough jobs out there for all the employees to find a slot. It is to everyone's benefit to help them build the company back up. I do think they are trying - Let's not shoot the wounded. Just sayin'
