Nobody wants to lose their job, of course, but do you really HAVE one here? Late checks, no work. You would probably even qualify for unemployment.

What you would lose from getting a new job would be losing stress, losing loss of sleep, losing worrying about every day if you have enough work OR will get paid.

I'm sorry you have to go through this!
