iMedX CUTTING BENEFITS for part-time employees - MTnester Posted: Sep 1st, 2016 - 6:41 pm
9/1/2016: This just in from IMedX/Amphion:
We have decided to discontinue our benefit offerings to part-time employees. A part-time employee is an employee working less than 30 hours per week. These benefits include dental, vision, FSA and all others with the exception of the 401(k) plan. Keep in mind that we are introducing a much more robust 401(k) plan effective 1/1/17. Please understand that these decisions are not easily made. We strive to offer competitive benefits to our employees, however due to participation levels and rising benefit costs, we have decided to move forward with the change effective 9/30/16. Therefore, your current plan coverages will end 9/30/16 with the exception of the FSA plan.
