Just a little story about our pay versus overseas pay. I worked in Saudi Arabia quite a few years ago as an MT. There was 1 Filipina working at my hospital also as an MT. I found out I was making more than 50% more than her, and this made me feel so guilty. When I asked her about this in as subtle a way as possible, she said this was an excellent paying job for people from her country, and she was thrilled to have such a high-paying position! Their cost of living was so very much less than here in the US that she was actually making MORE money than I was. My feeling is that our current Indian owners, as you said, just can't fathom our need for more money to live decently here in the good old USA. Anyway, I learned my lesson while in Saudi Arabia; don't feel too bad for the salary "they" are making; it, in actuality, equals more than we make!
