If it were me, I would print out three hard copies of all correspondence with her:
1. For myself.
2. One to send to IRS.
3. One to send to DOL.

I would then write a brief summary of what transpired and send it off. Mark the one to the IRS to the attention of the criminal division. And good for you for being so ethical!
