My husband's portion of taxes we would get back covered what I owed. My accountant said that as long as we didn't owe at the end in addition to that we were fine. Once I started making enough that we had to pay in he stated that I would have to make quarterly payments as the IRS doesn't like you to have to pay them that much at the end. They like their money on a regular basis. :)
