one of the lazy ones who did not pay quarterly taxes. I always forgot and ended up paying at the end of the year. Yes, there was a penalty, but it was not substantial. It went hand in hand with what you owed. I don't think mine was ever over $100.00. It did not make much difference to me. The IRS never complained to me about it.
