I have a laptop computer that I use and of course, the speakers on a laptop are not the greatest. I use a "sound boosting" program called Breakaway. There is a 30-day free trial; however, you can still use it after the 30 days is up. You notice when the sound gets a bit muffled and you can click on the program and there is a little yellow button, click on that, and you sound is boosted for another half hour. If you purchase it, I believe it is around $30. That may help and good luck.
