Unless you are not getting your minimum lines in for your shift. Then, they might monitor you. I used messenger for training and then removed it. Nobody told me to, I just did. Have never been questioned on my time, QA or line count at TTS. Downloaded the stopwatch but never used it and yes, I take more than 3-minute breaks sometimes.
