it may be a new thing they are stressing but I was contracted in for IC work and the "stop watch" was DEFINITELY part of the training and they were requiring that I use it, even as an IC. I was also required to install Yahoo Messenger and verify that I had put in four certain people as contacts and send them a message to make sure that I had added them so they could contact me thru Yahoo Messenger. I did not make it past 2 days of training and resigned simply because they wanted an IC but they wanted to control the way I worked, the hours that I worked, the days that I worked, and how I did the work. That's not an IC position. But...they ARE telling the truth about StopWatch and Yahoo Messenger.
