That's what I understood about the stopwatch too. It's a tool available IF I need to work on my production numbers (be it to meet minimums or to simply increase my speed/pay). A way to keep myself on task and aware of what I'm doing. Not a punitive micro-manager tool. But of course that is not what the haters want to hear. Doesn't conform to their nasty spin.
