Coding and bifocals - Not a problem.

Like someone else said, mid range lenses would probably work (trifocals) with a reading lens, mid range for your computer and a distance area. I wear bifocals and have no trouble switching back and forth, you just learn to look through a different part of your glasses. You won't use your books that much anyway, most of the books are in electronic form or you will use an encoder. Once you start, your glasses will be the least of your worries.
