Changing to 55 VBC was a good idea; and like you said above eliminated a pain in your patootie and the time involved in keeping tabs on padders. My MTSO pulled a sort of bait and switch by starting me on a 65 + spaces line, then saying "oh, by the way, the account you're really going to be on is a 65 VBC account." They tried to compensate by raising the line rate by 10%, which is not enough. I think if MTs understood that either raising the line rate or lowering the number of VBCs that equal a line is a fair way to do business, AND MTs insisted one or the other methods be used, we would have been much better off. Alas, not many insisted on that.
