that justifies their cheating or stealing to improve it?

And why on earth do you think a business owner should pay people more than the going rate for that type of job just because their employees would like more money? Just about everyone on earth, no matter what they are making, would like to make more money. However, as long as there are MTs willing to work for hamburger-flipper wages (and there are plenty of them), MT jobs are unlikely to pay more.

Just out of curiosity, when you go shopping, do you put your MONEY where your mouth is and pay a premium price for all-American-made goods produced only by people making union wages, or do you buy stuff made in overseas sweat shops because it's less expensive?

In my experience, very few people pay more for anything than they have to, and the same people who complain bitterly about how they should be paid more for their work cheerfully shop at WalMart because it's cheaper without worrying their heads for one minute about why that is.
