I've been a QA, trainer, and supervisor for a couple of decades and personally, for me, I would not be offended if someone pointed out the kinds of errors the OP mentioned. QA cannot edit every single report that is typed. We only edit the ones that are either sent to us for blanks or questions, or we do the monthly random audits (which are the ones with the most errors).
On the flip side, regarding the company in question, I absolutely would not say anything. Companies like that don't care and/or don't have the manpower to fix every report, only those tagged for audit or blanks. Regardless, companies like that aren't worth the effort.
