The hard time I'm having with switching from MT to something else is that MT gives you absolutely no skills for anything else. I don't know Excel. I don't know bookkeeping. I don't know anything but how to spell hard medical words! I just finished ultrasound school because I got laid off from the hospital MT job I had. Unfortunately, I'm exploring options to go back to MT because I can't find a job in ultrasound and don't have skills for anything else. It really sucks.
