You continue with a tunnel-vision focus on offshoring. You need to wake up and open your eyes.

The threat to your jobs now is front-end speech recognition, along with other EHR input methods. You are being replaced by technology. It is being rolled out across the country.

My facility is a prime example. I see the MTs who work on it wondering where the work is going. They assume it is going offshore, but it is not. Their company is giving them all that we send, but that is negligible compared to what it had been even a year ago. Our doctors, by their own choice, use Dragon, templates, and other methods.

No job remains the same forever. I think Dear Abby would advise you to get some job counseling and move on. Sitting there moaning and trying to roll back the clock is not helping you.
