Yes, she probably would advise you to find something else. Sometimes though that isn't an easy choice, particularly in a rural area. I don't think it would hurt to write Dear Abby, but I don't think it will particularly benefit you either. People generally just don't give a hoot unless it's directly affecting them in some way.
