Question about new Webclock - new but old

Those of us who have been using webclock and are not new from other companies - do we have to go on and do something different and set up a new pin etc. I got an email about having to view an 8 minute instruction on setting up an account with webclock but I already have one. Of course it is through alpha staff so do I need to do anything?

Just watched the recording myself and there is a new way to access Webclock. HTH.

I viewed it also last night but was under the impression that I would get more information through another email which I haven't. In the first email there was a log in 4 digit number, am I supposed to use that and go in under the website that they give us in the recording? I just am sort of confused as I thought I was supposed to get email but haven't

who are new to Webclock, as I see no change to it. Could be wrong, of course. As for your question, after going through the intitial process (tools, privacy, etc), go to the website given. There should be a keypad on the screen and a box for ID(?). Type or use that keypad to enter the 4-digit ID # sent to you, press "ok" twice (not quickly). I think it takes you to Webclock, but then you will have to go back to the log-in page (keypad on screen) and assign a password/PIN.

Disclaimer: Writing this from memory, which is not too great anymore. If anyone notices an error here, please correct it.

It takes me to webclock with my existing timesheet showing like I should punch in or out but I don't want to do that. I went through the pop up blocker thing and put in the address to allow it to come through and then got to the keypad and typed in the number they sent me and asked me for a pin which I haven't technically set up yet and when I put it in it just says invalid so I will probably just have to call them and have them walk me through it. I know it has to be done by the 22nd

which is how we access Webclock now.

It's easy. Just follow the link, add it to favorites, put in the # they gave you and follow instructions.

All it does is give you direct access to Webclock now instead of having to go to the AlphaStaff website.

Thanks a lot. I got it this time. So come Saturday this is how we log in I assume? I definitely don't want anything to screw up getting paid!!

I did all the pop up blocker steps, typed in my pin number, clicked ok twice and what happens is that it moves to the pin box to type in my pin. It does not take me to a different page to pick my pin. I really am disliking the ADP, the webclock and all that stuff...and why are we not getting paid for those 8 minutes of that incredibly boring recording. If we are required to do it, even if it is for 2 minutes, we should be paid for it!!

Were you on it before or are you coming to it new. I had a lot of problems too but am now set up and according to an email that I just got they said to go ahead and start logging in and out on it now and not wait until Saturday when we have no other way to log in or out

I am using the old webclock now. I still cannot register for the new webclock. I put in my ID, click ok twice and it moves over to pin. It does not take me to select my pin. I have contacted them and no answer back from them. I can't even get int the ADP website, my username doesn't work. I selected to have it sent to my email and never received an email..that was 2 hours ago. I am so frustrated at this point.

I've been using it all along rather than go through the Alpha site, but they are telling me I have to register for this new one. Looks the same to me. This makes no sense. It won't let me register again. Waiting for response from yet another email I have sent them. Very annoying and time consuming when I already have a PIN.

It's associated with a new ID that came in the e-mail, though. - So different pin needed. nm

The ID I received via email is the same one assigned to me when we first registered at Webclock months ago. We had the option of bypassing AlphaStaff and going directly to Webclock by setting up a PIN back then.

I was struggling to. I went to Internet Explorer and out of the presentation that we had to watch there was an email that they give that ends in biz.com and I copied and pasted that in to IE under my favorites. The first number you have to put in is the number that was included in the email they sent (a 4 digit number) and then for password I just put in the number I wanted and clicked ok twice and it took me to the existing web clock that I am using now.

For some reason I am totally spacing what my Webclock ID is and this is different than the employee number on the paystubs. Does anyone know where to find this? I am trying to figure out how to best keep my LPH at a reasonable rate. Since on the new plan your lines per hour are divided by the hours in Webclock, what about the time you spend if you have to look something up, or try to find a word, or whatever, bathroom break. Would it be best to clock out in Webclock, do the search or whatever it is, and then clock back in once you have completed whatever it is you are doing? I know for me, sometimes I get caught up in "looking" for som ...

Does anybody else have trouble just signing on to this darned thing? I have to try 5 to 10 times a night sometimes to even get the Webclock to come up. I can get onto the first page okay, but then clicking on ITCS Weblock after the Payroll button more often than not results in a totally blank page. I am wondering about the webclock I heard Nuance uses. Are they crazy strict about sticking to your shift and clocking out for everything? I like the flexibility Transcend offers with regard to family stuff. If I have to go pick up my kid or go to the school or doctor, they are cool with it and let me flex. Can someone clarify for me how schedules/Webclock is supposed to to work??? You are scheduled to work 8 hours. There is no work, you wait 15 minutes, supposed to clock out and check back later, etc. If all of this considered part of your 8 hours?? or do you have to make up the daggum time for all this crap of checking back and forth, emailing to get jobs assigned, etc. I only have those 8 hours and cannot flex. Are you penalized for not getting your hours in?? ...

Have received info on training, which instructs to not complete until you have created a password and have access to Webclock. Prior email message said that info should have gone out yesterday. The score for this quarter? Mine is still showing my QA accuracy score exactly as it was prior to 09/30, which made me ineligible for the weekly production incentive bonus for the entire last quarter. So now my "new" score for the quarter that ended 09/30 is 99.28%, which would mean I'm eligible for the weekly incentive bonus for this past week, right?
