Does anyone have information about SoftScript? Has anyone who worked for them had incorrectly reported pay/hours or been denied unemployment benefits?

Know nothing about SoftScript other than they advertise a lot and if that is an indication...then one wonders what is going on. Everyone tries to deny you the unemployment benefits except when all the departments have close in house, but they don't tell you to file first thing. I was horrified after the department was all laid off and so had half a paycheck with unemployment, but worried. Went service hunting. Psych account, all foreign dictators and private owned, said she keeps her pay down to secure work. Told me she never had a raise herself in 20 years...paid 5 cents a line to start for 3 months' training, then 6 cents!! This gave me LESS money than unemployement and cut off my benefits since "I now had a job!" When I told the unemployment office about "the job" she reinstated my unemployment. She agreed that that was not a job! It was supposed to be a career and a living. I was never on unemployment but now with what they are doing what are our choices? Only service work that is less than even unemployment or...back to school at 50! What can we do after transcription?

SoftScript seems to brag a lot in their ads, but when you're hired they don't deliver. Worked for them for almost 3 years and never had a review or raise, but they advertise yearly reviews. They can talk the talk, but in no way do they walk the walk. Stay away!!!

I received my bonus. I think they do them towards the end of the year. Last year a friend of mine did not get anything, but this year she did. If you donâ��t get the marks high enough for a bonus or increase they donâ��t usually inform you. They send you a breakdown of your performance review only if you receive an increase. I guess they should inform us either way, so we know where we need to improve.

The thing that I am concerned about is they said in their introduction that, "Production time is tracked off the technology system and monitors the time you are actually in the document working (hands on the keyboard or foot on the pedal).
