Read the archives for Smartmed 2011. I had been there close to 14 years. I was fired for "not doing enough difficult dictators." Uh, wrong. If I only did easy ones, my QAs would be 100%. It was an excuse to weed out - they've been in financial trouble for the past 5 years. A group of us were grandfathered in for scale pay. Apparently they are trying to get by paying crap wages. Also, there is no tech support whatsoever. They have their own made up platform which is horrible. They've also lost the majority of their accounts in the past 2 years. There is 1 large teaching hospital left for EVERYONE. Runs out of work a lot. Before the supervisor gets on there, the night people jump all over the better jobs and leave the crap for us in the a.m. It is a work pool that everyone takes jobs from, no fair distribution. Read the archives - I'm telling you the truth.

I worked for them awhile back. Horrible platform. No tech support. Supervisor had a bad attitude as well as management. No communication whatsoever. Only thing decent about them was pay was average and they did pay on time.

I see they have an ad. I worked there but left for family tragedy. I am giving them an unsolicited endorsement. Wonderful, friendly women. they do have teaching accounts so not for newbies. If you want to work for a good company and deal with sane individuals, I recommend them. I did not make tons of money there (but where can you anymore) but it was certainly refreshing to deal with adults. ...
