Anyone have information on Smartmed? - sm - Cautiously optimistic

I have not seen anything about them on the board. Maybe that's a good thing? Was wondering if anyone has worked for them or currently works for them.

I worked for them for over 15 years. I would never go back. Check archives from 2009-2013. You'll find plenty of comments there.

I worked for them a few years back....Absolutely worst of the worst dictators...and I've been a transcriptionist for over 30 years...and have seen and heard it all and not very much throws me off...but this place? I quit - it just wasn't worth my time and effort. Couldn't pay the bills. If I remember correctly, the pay was okay, but couldn't make any money because of the bad dictators...it took forever to get through a report. But that was just my experience....maybe others had different accounts/experiences.

then they got a software that was just horrendous. I also heard after I left that they cut their pay way down. Like I said, it was good when I was there, but then it wasn't.

They made that software up themselves. It totally sucked. - mt2

I see they have an ad. I worked there but left for family tragedy. I am giving them an unsolicited endorsement. Wonderful, friendly women. they do have teaching accounts so not for newbies. If you want to work for a good company and deal with sane individuals, I recommend them. I did not make tons of money there (but where can you anymore) but it was certainly refreshing to deal with adults. ...
