Diskriter or TransTech - Opinions or Experiences? - Debating

Have offers from both but have read pros and cons about each MTSO on these boards. Has anyone worked for both and can compare the two, or does anyone have current experience at either? I read the posts regarding the lack of work at TT and can't help but wonder if that's across the board or just a few accounts.

Any advice, suggestions, experiences, etc., appreciated.

I've been at TT for 5-1/2 years. It was great until the past 1-1/2 years or so. There is overhiring on all my accounts (I have 4 of them). TAT is the biggest issue with them, and they will starve MTs to get it. They freak out when there is 3 or 4 hours left in TAT and put out the "all hands on deck" email. I've even tried flexing and working different shifts with no increase in work.

That is, of course, just my personal experience with TT. I don't have any experience with Diskriter. Good luck with your decision!

methods. I was making less per hours and I knew it because I had worked for 2 other places using EXText. Plus I was put on such huge accounts I never got the same doctor twice.

I worked for Diskriter. I really liked it there. You must work your 8-hour shift, no more, no less.
They didn't have enough work for me to make a living. I left.

I worked for Transtech. I really liked it there. You were to work your shift when there was work and "flex" when there wasn't i.e. be availble 24/7.
They didn't have enough work for me to make a living. I left.

Hi, I am new to this internet typing transcription at home too and am finding it daunting and complicated. Can anyone tell me about their experiences with DIT transcription ? I have had horrible experiences with 2 companies in the past few months that I thought were different and would turn out much better than most medical transcription companies out there. Does anyone have any recent experience with Oracle? Hate to ask such a loaded ?, as there is always good/bad experiences. Gosh, I wonder how you all have time to write so many posts? I have worked for ProScript since January 2009 and have had nothing but good experiences with them. The pay plan is comparable to other companies. Perhaps those complaining have not worked anywhere new in the last year or two.
