DOL says some of us are not on the list, what's up with that?

Tell the DOL you are not on the list and ask them to cross-check with the IRS. Do you have pay stubs or 1099s?

Will the DOL get that from the IRS, and why haven't they already? This is so strange that some people got paid and not others, is the DOL in cahoots with K&R?

I strongly doubt that the DOL is in cahoots with anybody. I would show them your 1099s. Since you were an IC and not an employee, not sure what will happen, but if they did not pay you.....You might also want to hire a collection agency. They will take a percentage of what they collect, but that is better than nothing. I really support everybody who does not get paid in kicking the kiesters of the MTSOs who do this.

It may be because only certain years were reported to the DOL. If you have wages that need to be paid, then you should personally report that to your DOL. I worked at a job that didn't pay us minimum wage and once I was there a year, I reported it to the DOL. There was this one girl that was there for 6 years and she only got back paid the same amount as I did, just for the year, because the year I reported was the only year that was investigated by the DOL. She would have had to make her own claim in order to be paid for the prior 5 years.

How many are aware of the wage disparity between different accounts (they don't find it necessary to tell us such a silly detail as the hourly wage, you have to look it up online). I've got the form to file a complaint re: Not getting paid for research, verifying patient name, cruddy dictators who shouldn't be in VR/ASR, etc. The person filing the complaint has to figure out how much the employer owes - any suggestions, or examples? I came into this field long after the precedent was set on pay. I knew coming into this that the average wage ran from 6 cpl to 10 cpl, with most jobs hovering around 7 to 8 cpl. This is just a warning message to hopefully prevent other MTs from going through my experience.
