Maybe you could find something else part-time or doing a different type of transcription to help you financially. Getting overdrawn at the bank is not the solution because they charge fees and you have to pay to bring your account in good standing plus the fees and risk having your account closed. Social Security will help but 15 months is a long time to go without income. I’m assuming you never saved anything in a 401K or IRA, you need emergency savings for situations such as this. If you live with family, maybe you could sell your car. Remember that they take Medicare off the top of your Social Security check, $170 a month. If your family only respected you when you had money, you need to find a new family.
