Has anyone heard of Miracle D for hair growth? - aa
Posted: Sep 17, 2010
It sounds like the dr. is saying Miracle D and it's supposedly and OTC hair growth aide. I can't get it to come up online or anywhere else I've looked.
"Note to transcriptionist: I'm finished mumbling, rambling, farting, chewing, and peeing. I expect YOU to produce a coherent medical report, correct diagnosis, and treatment plan!"
Have a nice day! ...
Okay........ now don't laugh at this question. I recently had to pull up another transcriptionist's report, and came across something I've never seen before. I couldn't find the formatting this MT used anywhere else, so I am wondering if any of you have. I always type "90th percentile", "56th percentile", etc. when peds are talking about growth charts. This MT typed "90%tile", "53%tile", etc. Is that actu ...
I would like some opinions on what you think about Nuance's claim of "Growth opportunities for those interested in building a career path in QA, training or management" and if you see that as a legitimate claim. I know all the heartaches we are going through with this career, but I just wanted to see if this is something this company will actually do or just blowing smoke... :o) ...
So, I graduated an AHDI-approved course, only to run into "No newbies!" and "2+ years experience required." I am currently working a clerical position for an insurance company. I receive the claims when they come in, and see heinous MT errors all the time. It seems that 2, 5, 8, 10+ years of experience makes NO DIFFERENCE because the MTs these companies employ are either:
A. Overconfident in their job security
B. Getting lazy in their old age
C. Relying too much on voice recognition
D. Keepi ...
what heading would you put that under? skin? HEENT? or what? kind of silly question I guess, but I just want to make sure.
(Patient has thinning hair, btw)
thanks ...
I have a pretty odd sentence, but I couldn't really hear him well:
The hair pole reveals about 50% telogen and androgen hairs.
Any idea if pole is right and if androgen is right? ...
Worst report ever!!!! Sound quality was pure crap. I have NEVER had a report with so many blanks with a total of 65. Sent to QA and wondering if they even tried to listen and fiill in any of the blanks as they were all still there when I looked at it. SISO. How much worse can this dictatior get? I did let my TSM know of this deplorable report.
Enough for ventiing. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...
I swear the doc is saying "hair zone" pillows. Here is the sentence in its entirety:
Patient is on a pressure redistribution surface already, to be turned q.2 h., elevator "hair zone" pillows.
It's probably something really simple and I'm going to feel so silly. ...
It sounds as if the dictator is saying "necrotic syndrome" however, everything popping up in search is nephrotic syndrome.....this is going all the way through the report...I have slowed the dictator down and listened carefully and she continues to sound as if she is saying necrotic...is the such a syndrome?
thank you in advance for any help. ...
79.79 minute job by an intern who gave a day-by-day account of a 3-week hospital stay. She repeated the same things over and over and over. I HATE THOSE KINDS OF JOBS!!!!!!!!! ...
Is there a type of lower extremity exam that would be done called digital hair? It s/l hair!
DP and PT pulses are palpable bilateral. Positive digital (hair) bilateral. There are no lesions or lacerations noted bilateral. Normal skin color, texture, and turgor bilateral.
It's an exam for a bunion deformity.
Thanks. ...
I hope no one gets suckered in by their latest job posting. There is NO work available at all this morning, across all accounts, and yet they claim continued growth and that they don't overstaff accounts. ...
Okay, am I insane? The MD is starting a SOAP note of someone having a physical exam to make sure she is safe before receiving sedation for an MRI. The first sentence is: Patient is here for a pre-NSTA physical.
pre-NSTA???...has anyone heard of that before...done lots of research, but of course, the most hits I get are for the National Science Teachers Association...and I KNOW that is not it...ugh! Little help please! ...
After all of these many, many, many, many (okay, you get the point) years of transcribing, my wrists don't hurt, my back doesn't hurt and my neck is still okay, but the one thing that has me really bothered is my heel !!! It really bothers me lately and I have tried putting a small pillow, a thick piece of flannel and many other things under my heel to alleviate this bothersome pain, but to no avail. Has anyone got any suggestions or is there some type of heel cup or someth ...
I have tested a few times before on mttest.com, a site that several MT companies use for testing potential MT's, and recently received this piece of information: In sections that require you to type in the correct answer, typing a "Capital" letter in the first letter of your answer constitutes a wrong answer. I don't know if this is accross the board but thought it good info to share. Maybe everyone already knew this, and I can't even remember if I did that on previous tests but i ...
I just heard that the 2 largest MTSOs in the world are approaching virtually every large to medium-sized hospital and medical center in the country with an offer for 10 cpl for transcription. I'm not even sure who the 2 largest are, but I'm pretty sure one of them is CBay and both are offshore companies to be able to offer that rate. This is really concerning because this could lower the rates for U.S. MTs even MORE or could literally put all U.S. companies out of ...
