Does anyone have programming instructions? My top display is dark and my foot pedal autorewind needs adjusting....any light you can shed will be greatly appreciated...:)

For the following functions, please follow the same steps as above, the code for each function is:

Recall Button: 1349
Unassign Job: 1382
Trans Status: 1386
List Job: 1383
Update: 1319

ECHO CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Turn off Lanier equipment

2. Press top right function button (if nothing comes up try other buttons)

3. When you get a display (VTI Config.) press the right arrow key until it displays Ã¢ï¿½ï¿½CAL Echo CancelÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½.

4. Press enter twice.

5. Dial the assigned telephone number.

6. After the verbal prompt, there will be a slight pause. At this time press enter once.

7. You will here a noise as if the Lanier was connecting to the internet. Your Lanier will quickly go through a series of displaysÃ¢ï¿½Â¦Calibrating Remote, Calibrating Local, Saving Data, Program Complete. Then your display will once again read Ã¢ï¿½ï¿½CAL Echo CancelÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½.

8. Turn your Lanier ON and then OFF again.

9. Unplug each wire from the Lanier.

10. Plug the wires back in and proceed as normal by turning your Lanier on and dialing in. You should now be prompted with a display reading Ã¢ï¿½ï¿½TTTÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½.

KEYPAD FUNCTIONS:

1 - Play
3 - Rewind
4 - Pause
6 - Go To End
7 - Fast Forward
8 - Go To Beginning

I currently work on Extext doing VR. Can anyone compare this platform to others for me. I have no idea if it is good/bad. Also, I don't know if I'm understanding all this talk about expanders. I always research before I ask a question and have searched the archives for the last hour or so. I am reviewing reports via the C-phone and am in desperate need of a backspace option. For example, when I let off the foot pedal, the dictation resumes exactly where it left off. It would make my job so my easier if the voice would "go back" about 2 seconds so that I don't miss any dictation. I have read numerous on-line manuals, but the instructions are so vague. ...

My company has recently taken on an account which requires me to use a Lanier LX219 transciption station. I received it and hooked it up. I am able to dial in and access the voice files; however, the foot pedal is not working correctly. When I step on the foot pedal, the audio begins to plan correctly; however, when I remove my foot from the pedal, the audio continues straight to the end of file and I cannot stop it. I have a new contract and the Hospital uses Lanier VoiceWriter, but I'm not sure if I need to have a landline installed? Hello! I use Lanier to transcribe and need a landline to do so. I also need to be out of town for family for a few days but will still be required to work. My only option where I'm staying is the use of the MagicJack. I don't know much about this. When I get into a dictation and as soon as I press the play part of the pedal and I lift my foot, the dictation fast fowards by itself all the way to the end. Pressing on the pedal does not stop it.
