Call-In Dictation System - to replace dying Lanier 800

Considering a job with an MTSO that uses Lanier call-in system. I am not familiar with this at all. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of using Lanier? Is the voice quality better or worse? I have never used a call-in dictation system before, but one of the offices we transcribe for is requesting that I get a system. I have looked at several systems, Dial Dictate, DigItel, and others. I cannot understand the language and can't figure out how much it would actually cost and how it works, etc. I do not want to have to get extra phone land lines. I have a DigiTel dictation system, and it has simply shut off without warning lately, which has happened several times. I reboot frequently, and there is plenty of room on the computer. I am able to dial in and access the voice files; however, the foot pedal is not working correctly.
