On-shore US illegal activities by Indian IT companies - eze

Related to the US transcriptionists issues with work offshoring to Indian companies, is this article series about Indian owned/run companies in the Information Technology field pulling illegal activities right here in the US in order to save money.

Given that these owners would do these things with risk of US jail, it is obvious that transcription records and medical data offshored into India are very exposed to misuse in the future.

It would be great if Business Week ran a story on - the scam that is Medical Transcription. (sm)

Like all the Indian companies that have opened an office in the US, call themselves "American" companies, assure everyone that they don't offshore, and then they do - as they continue to claim "there aren't enough American MTs, so we HAVE to offshore", all the while intentionally forcing more and more skilled, educated and experienced American MTs out the door by underpaying them. What a travesty, especially when unemployment in the U.S. is so high.

Those 3 articles you had links to were good ones, though. I learned the hard way long, long ago: Never, EVER, pay for a job! It's supposed to be the other way around. Any company or recruiting firm that asks a worker to "pay to play" is a scam.

New to Nuance, swallowed up when they acquired my employer at the end of 2013. They need 150 signatures for it to be put on the White House website.
