I know I have a month to go yet, but today I checked Fiesa, and I am down to 99.19% with only a little over a month to go. I hate that it will affect the next entire quarter. Why can't they be reasonable and at least do monthly. Without bonus I will not be able to make ends meet. I know, I know, I'm not alone. Just had to vent. I am so stressed out and hate it! I really want to find another job, but it sounds like the grass is not any greenier anywhere else.

I drove myself nuts with that FIESA crap and bonuses. The only way I can get through this job for a few more months is log in, work, log out. that's it. No more. No less. Concentrate on producing more work and forget about that bonus. It's not that much anyway.

It is the incentive pay that is keeping me afloat. It's an extra $450 a pay check on average, and to me it's worth trying for. That is why I am so stressed out.

Bonuses these days are nothing but an unreachable - CARROT-ON-A-STICK. N/M

I really do feel for you, but I am going to learn from your experience never, ever to depend on Nuance for any bonus because I would never want to be put in this kind of predicament. This is the way this profession has been, going way downhill. Plus, when you have unscrupulous Nuance QAs right at the helm there to decide on a person's fate of the quality bonuses when their judgement is for a better word is nuts at best with this overediting/over-QA'ing crap (you know like if they give you 3 points for
missing "the", "and", "if", "but", and other stupid crap which doesn't affect patient care in the least.) It's always best to have another job, but go back to school for coding as I have because it seems to me like an easy transition from being a transcriptionist for a long time.

With this minimum wage, you'll see the end of ADHI, and possibly these dime store companies like Nuance and others who go down this path because no transcriptionists will NOT want to spend money to learn a profession and obtain a CMT status where they can make the same amount of money at McDonalds. Local colleges around here already have gotten rid of their transcription programs, and they used to be affiliated with AAMT/ADHI as well.

I am at 99.11 and if I get just one bad audit it can sink me for the entire quarter.

This current quarter I lost my bonus by a fraction of a percentage point.

I NEED my bonus next quarter but live in fear every single day. Problem is, fear actually makes me MORE prone to making errors.

Nuance is a nightmare to work for.

I'm curious as to why Nuance would do this? Why would they give QC a bonus and make ours so darn hard to acheive? Why would they allow QC to continue to make up bogus errors to only make us look really bad? I think I know. I've never been so stressed in my life!!! N is so disorganized. I worked on eScription for 3 years before our dept in AK was outsourced to this company (never once had a problem with finding templates, etc.). N comes in, takes over our dept, I go to work for them, get put on my 3rd acct (this one from CA) and I've NEVER seen such a jumbled mess of templates in my life. I passed the first interview, took the test and was told I scored very high and the QA score on the testing was 99.9%. I have 20 years experience.
