I would not recommend Nuance to anyone. The company does not care about its workers, it locks you into an unreasonable incentive program, there is absolutely NO communication between supervisors and MTs, and I believe it's ultimate goal is to get rid of medical transcriptionists altogether by replacing us with machines.
To be honest, I'm shocked that they are looking to hire right now, when most of us are sitting at our computers staring at NSA messages half the day, just trying to make a decent paycheck.

This is an honest from the heart response. PLEASE look elsewhere. In brief, I was employed and happy at Webmedx. Nuance bought them out. I have gone from 60,000 a year to about half of that. I run out of work, I never hear from my manager, what work is there is horrid. The platform (Enterprise) is hideous. It seems to be going backwards instead of forward. I cannot make any lines due to this. I fix everything. They will promise you the moon and deliver nothing. I have been 99% accurate in my 7 years with Webmedx and now cannot break 98% so therefore the bonus is elusive. I was zinged the other day for missing the word "the" when we were told we would not be. Now I must take MY time and fight this? Naaaa......I'm good, I'm really good, and I found a company that will appreciate me so am leaving tomorrow actually. The insurance stinks as well. I have become the working poor thanks to Nuance. My hope is that they do get caught skimming lines, which I know they do. I hope that Jay ruins this company as he has ruined Webmedx. I hope that people continue to leave for better places so all Nuance is left with is their precious Indian workers. I hope this helps. I came from Medquist and honestly would go back there before I ever typed another letter for Nuance.

Good luck to you all...At least I have docQscribe which is a great program but the ASR stinks royal and the rest of the complains all seem the same from company to company
Mmodal is terrible, but are any of them better...why jump from one to the other if there is no difference...only have a few yrs to go and I can quit ...
I thought they were 2 different services. Everyone is buying out everyone, so who knows. All the small companies have been merged I guess. I thought Nuance was out of New York and were the primary with VR. Maybe one has to keep up with the changes and be a member and pay the dues and go to the meetings with AAMT and be a CMT to keep up with the changes, even though you still get 4 cents. ...
It said they have a desperate need for MTs since acquiring Transcend and asking me to contact their recruitment office. I filled out an online app about 2 years ago but I changed my mind and decided to stay put at MM/MQ.

I can't find important email addresses, for instance for support (for computer problems), payroll, HR, etc. I had a number to call for a "help desk", what is that used for. No help coming from manager. There must be a list somewhere if you need to contact someone. Thanks for your help! ...

Did everyone get the email that said response needed saying we understood? Now no more flexing outside your regular shift hours. If you do not get in your time/lines, you can only flex outside your shift during open flex time, which is Friday 6 pm until Monday 6 am. I don't guess this really bothers me. I would totally be leery of this job. They are liars and cheats and are always wanting you to work your days off and over, but pay you NO OVERTIME!! THIS COMPANY SUCKS AND DOES NOT GIVE A RATS BEHIND ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES. I have worked there 4 years and never got a raise, much less any respect for the 21 years I have worked as an MT. besides the resume do you add--how much selling of your skill, etc? Some companies won't open an attachment, so I get the feeling they don't want much more. My feeling is if they see the resume and want more info they will contact me, but never sure.
