Did anyone qualify for or get notice of the quartery bonus yet? - good worker
Posted: Apr 05, 2013
I asked HR and was told that we would get an email by the end of this week regarding the quarterly bonuses. It's Friday afternoon. Anybody get an email yet?
You won't get a notice of that. You can figure it out yourself - from your gross quarterly pay.

I'm guessing you're in the 10% (99.5% to 99.9% QA) bracket and not 15% (100% QA accuracy). Then figure about a third of that gone for taxes (it's taxed at a different rate than pay for some reason I've forgotten).
It used to be disbursed, when I was getting it, about 20-30 days after the end of the quarter, so no sooner than April 20, more likely closer to April 30.
and in spite of every obstacle known to man thrown in my face, I was able to qualify for the quarterly bonus. Does anyone know when it will be paid out? ...
I actually thought they were due this month, just pulled out my vouchers and saw they were due last month. I actually watched a video with an accountant and he said you don't have to pay quarterly taxes, they just set it up to help you out. I was wondering though if anyone has actually ever missed a payment and what the outcome was. Trying to find something on the internet but not finding anything except penalties if you owe at the end of the year. ...
I was laid off in March after 6 years subcontracting with a small MTSO. The drop in work was sudden, when the main client switched to a point and click system. I am mad at myself that I had not gone ahead and started planning for another career. I have found a part-time manual labor job, and have gone back to school and get financial aid, but it is not enough. I am a single mom and have had to ask my parents for help several times, and my step father told me y ...
By year's end, I will have made about half of what I normally make working the same number of FT hours. I've read suggestions on here to apply for partial UI, which could probably save my behind - I'm not sure how much longer I can pay the rent and not sure where me and kids would go. However, is it really possible to qualify for that considering the nature of our work, paid by production? Could'nt it be argued (wrongly so!!) that we just slacked off and did ...
This is my first VR job. I cannot make enough lines to qualify for health insurance on it. This is the first time I have ever had this problem. I could easily exceed my line count with a straight typing job. The only way I could meet line count now is if I blaze through the jobs without proofreading and put out bad-quality jobs. I wouldn't even be able to get up to stretch my legs ever. I'd have to cut my lunch down to 30 minutes. And even then I'd be about 1000 to ...
The other day I was getting a bit nervous, so I checked - there's certain dollar amounts required over a certain time period, so this is something you might want to check into - I get the feeling the next couple of years might be a bumpy ride (bumpier ride) for a few of us, transitioning "out." And I want out. So the time to check into all this is well before you get laid off (if possible). Or you have to quit, but are still eligible for unemployment because of the REASON ...
Guess I have sunk to a new low. With ASR and NJA, I have joined the working poor.
Can't wait until I finish school and get out of here. My wage is less than when I started MT 25 years ago. Just trying to hold on until I finish school. ...
If a regular employer decides to outsource you to an MTSO and you are offered a position but declined to go, does that make you ineligible for unemployment becuase you were offered something? i.e., not a straight layoff? I don't think they will "guarantee" our old pay of course...since it is production....Or is that all up to the company that is letting you go (what they say when unemployment contacts them?) ...
to receive the 3-month and 6-month installments of the signon bonus? I could not get enough lines so I never qualified for benefits or the bonus. (It actually is based on hours worked, but if you do less than 135 lines/hour you get fired, so if you work 8 hours and only have 200 lines that shift, you have to lie and say you only worked an hour or whatever.) I'm just curious. I see they are still advertising, although at least they no longer promise they ha ...
Took copies of all documentation in to local state employment office and it is fair grounds for quitting since my overall pay has been reduced again. Doing a happy dance and getting ready to have time for a full time job search andtesting. :D ...
I am thinking about pursuing a job as an independent contractor as I am retired and want something to do more than the money (retired hospital transcriptionist). It is my understanding that an IC must have flexible schedule to qualify for IC status, yet the job ads specify second and third shift as well as weekend days. Can they do this? I know the government is cracking down on ICs to make sure they are truly ICs (we all know the transcription companies will do everything to preserve their bo ...
In almost every ASR report lately, there have been gross errors in the dosages of medications.
In 1 report today, it had Colace 70 mg when the dictator clearly said 100 mg. Then in another report, it had Protonix 3 mg daily when the dictator said 40 mg daily.
Watch your dosages closely!!!! Something is up! ...
remember the system used to automatically capitalize the first letter as you were typing..i.e. after a period (.) etc.
well, it is no longer doing this....wonder why?
wonder if there is a way to get it to do this as I found this to be a time saver...
....upgrade? things are seeming to take longer to me ??? ...
For some reason I keep thinking they covered this on the tutorial...but I'm a shift and don't have time to figure it out. When I did the spell check at the end (which took an exceptionally long time), it appeared all my text turned BLUE (liike it does when you highlight) and then disappeared!
I didn't just lose my stuff, did I?Also so far, I don't see a big change in the headings. I'm typing them like normal. And I couldn't remember the new numbering sy ...
Posters,
MTStars has a a few requirements for the job ads that are placed on our Job Seeker's board. These are in place to provide a minimum of information for you (company name, city and state of business and a visible email address) to do your research on before applying. We also have a minimum pay that can be posted (5 cpl for transcription and 3 cpl for editing, QA, etc.). You can see all of the ad requirements by reviewing the sticky note at the top of the Job Seeker' ...
That sometimes when you complete a job, the next job in the que downloads but then the second job that is supposed to come up in your que takes forever to show up? I sometimes think it has to take a minute to search for the very worst job to send me. ...
in these few posts below that as they go on and you ask more questions, the OP reveals more and more about themselves and they give inconsistent answers and you can tell they really don't work for MM?
I think some of these posts are made up. Changing the NJA policy for T-day? Letter of appreciation? Just trying to stir the pot and unfortunately too many people fall for it. Does anybody really believe a CCM sent an email telling us to check every 30 minutes tomorrow? That goes against ...
Work for a company for over a year, they switch accounts without notice. Is it common to just quit and move to another job, or is it always best to give a notice? I am not sure I owe them one at this point and need to consider my needs. ...
Yesterday, my TSM sent out an e-mail notifying us that in January, the team leads will be transitioning to other positions as that job description is being done away with. All I can say is I sure hope they had more warning and that it was not a surprise. The TSM also asked for patience with her as she assumes their duties. I wanted to laugh as I have not been overall impressed with the duties she was already performing. ...
... a lower rate of holiday pay on their most recent pay stub? We're now supposedly being paid by the DOL wage determination rate based on where the facility is located. I volunteered to work on one of the new facilities until they got caught up. The WDR for this facility is considerably less than the other facility I work on. I noticed that the holiday pay was according to the rate for the lower-wage facility that I agreed to temporarily work on. ...
I just got laid off from Proscript in an email, I think this was very cold, no warning, no 2 weeks notice, nothing......I have worked for them since 2005, this is just wrong..... ...
What if I don't give a 2 week notice? Is it really gonna hurt me? I doubt they give detailed information about what kind of employee you were. Maybe just dates. I have been with this company since the mid 90s and I hate to just up and leave like that, but I don't know if I can take it another day. Every week its something new. My pay is down to almost nothing. With the type of reports I get, there is no way I'm making 5% and living with my ...
Does anyone know if MQ can take some of your check that is due to arrive, already approved, if we suddenly just quit and leave? What can they do if we don't give a 15-30 day notice????? How soon do they want their old computer back? Any information about leaving without notice is really appreciated!!!! ...
Got a call from the insurance girl at the doctor's office today. Seems they've hired an in-house gal and are not needing my services after ten years. I look back on all the missed vacations I never took. Don't make my mistake. No notice and my salary was approximately $36,000 a year. I've been thrown to the sharks. If any one needs a rheumatology gal, let me know. My cable folks are turning me off, plus my phone, plus any other thing ...
I quit without notice. I think if a company is professional and treat you as a professional they deserve the courtesy of notice. However, I worked for a company where management and supervision would answer e-mail questions with "your question or message has been assigned a number. Please refer to this number in future correspondence regarding this. My GAWD. Give me a break! When I got an e-mail after I told them I was out of there asking me if I was ...
