Hi there people,

I want to know from those who've attended or graduated from Andrews...are you taught technology in depth? I've gotten the impression that Andrews glosses it over. Also, do you get webinars and such?

designed to elicit criticism of the Andrews training program. Not sure what your agenda is. If you are leading up to touting some other program with which you are associated, just present your case without the subterfuge. If you're looking for validation for taking one of the matchbook-cover courses, why not just go ahead and do what you think is best?

I'm in a coding program, not Andrews but another well-known school, I don't need to mention the name. I am doing what I think is best for me but I am tired of being told by students and instructors on the board who obviously represent Andrews what a mistake I have made by not attending their school. I'm still trying to figure out what stake the Andrews school has in MTStars, they must pay heavily for advertising.

terminology question: Is any school that is not Andrews - considered a matchbook-cover course?

Matchbook cover is a demeaning term, like those art schools that used to adverise all the time. Andrews is definitely not the only legitimate school, there are other good on-line schools and many colleges who offer transcription and coding programs.

I am an Andrews grad and while the name on your resume does open doors, when it comes to technology, their course is lacking. In my personal opinion after working for several years they are behind the times in that and other areas.

I recently accepted a position at a local hospital after nearly 9 years at my current job (long story, involves outsourcing, blah, blah, blah). I have just been offered a job and accepted with TTS. I have been able to avoid VR for quite sometime, but will now be doing this. I have heard good and bad so not sure what to expect. Just curious to know pros and cons with TTS?Also curious what to expect with doing VR? 75% of my work will be VR, but mostly clinic account and only 15% of ESL's. Any thoughts and/or opinions or anyone who works there, what do you think?Thanks! ...
