the system for years, having a US store front but huge Indian companies and Indian employees, I don't see how this would change anything. We're not trading with Indians, we are owned by them, but playing off the company as a US company with a store front.

Our POD has been on OT since October. We were told 2 people got hired this month, former employees. We are still on MOT. So that tells me a few things:
1. Employees are quitting faster than the company is hiring.
2. There are no good candidates left so they must resort to calling back employees who quit in the first place.
3. MOT is here to stay.
They will use this trade deal to push clients towards ILP - currently my accounts refuse

Obamacare started the mess and the raising of the corporate tax rate. The companies have already moved overseas, makes more economic sense. When Burger King leaves the country, there is a problem.. Doctors are cutting money every way they can. Transcription used to be a luxury, its not economically feasible anymore. Watch the docs offices, the nurse is entering the reports..Hospitals are going to scribes, cheaper than paying the big bucks to the transcription companies, who in turn, pay us crap..They are making as much money as they can, while they can..We all know it is a dieing field..
I worked for MQ many, many years ago when they bought the company I was working for. From reading this board, it appears some things never change and only get worse. I remember having to switch from one account to the other constantly and trying to keep track of client profiles. Glad I am out of there!! ...

I know this b/c I specifically could not find a doctors name in the database for one particular job and I blanked it, wrote it down so I would remember the job number and what I blanked and when my corrections came through today, that name was filled in as if I put it there, there was no blank no more with a correction that I put in the incorrect name. I know that I blanked it. This is rediculous!!! I can't wait to find another job! ...

I noticed things starting to change at WMX when they bought that transcription company..what was it about 1 year or 2 ago. As changes were constantly being made, even our managers werent as nice as they used to be. I started there more than 7 years ago and it was great back then, but then after about 5 years, things started happening and none of the changes benefitted the MTs. ...
Gets so frustrating every day to constantly get the bad dictators over and over. Hundreds of different dictators on this account, yet I get same bad dictators, 3-4 reports at least in a row of each bad dictator lined up, and they aren't due back for quite some time, compared to the many other better dictators that were dictated long before the ones I am getting. Have ya ever wondered, WHY is it that we get "audited" when we are having really, really bad work days? Why does the "computer randomly chose" (ha!) the most difficult, awful report to review? My latest audit was on a dictator I had NEVER EVER DONE before, on a brand spanking new account, was 1098 minutes and ASR and ESL! I got an 84%. I have read the archives and saw that QA can be tough and M-Modal isn't the greatest software. I am working on M-Modal where I am now and it's not my favorite, but Transolutions at least pays more and I am hoping that they have more work than where I am now. ...
