get 1500 doing these short ASR reports that need complete repair all day long. I struggle to get 1200.

post below in the i just cant take it anymore thread - stated that it was 1500

but i haven't checked anything official myself.

I rechecked the email poster had referred to. - still 150 lph = 1200 per 8h

A previous poster had stated it was in the same email as the new quality requirement, but I did not find anything about line count requirements in that email. A later email from Shaw stated the new requirement was 150 lph in 2 weeks (from that email) "so we could have time to 'ramp up' our production.

We are now in the 3rd quarter, so the 99.6% quality score is now required. So, if you make more than 1 minor error, you have now failed (minor error equals 0.25 points off). Take aim Shaw!!!

No, it's 150 lph which is 1200 for 8 hours - JustMe

The new policy is located on the MModal Intranet: 150 lph and 99.5% quality. This is located under Departments, Human Resources, Policies, and then in bottom right-hand corner in the section titled HR Policies for Medical Transcriptions, click on Med Trans-Performance Management Policy.

thanks!! that person must work 10 hours a day - or something

Line Requirement For
Mar 15, 2010

Can somebody explain this to me?  I know you can work up to 40 hrs weekly, but what is the required line count?  I'm wanting to go to PT so I can get another PT job somewhere else, as the NJA drives my nuts.  I'm currently required to get 100 lph at FTLB.  Is this also my requirement if I go PT?  CCM has been MIA, so I'm not getting any help there and having a hard time finding exactly what I'm looking for on Central.  Thanks ...

How Come No One's Talking About The Increased Line Requirement?
Dec 21, 2012

I'm aware of the increase in lines per hour to 186 (average between regular and edited) which I think might be a little challenging to sustain on a regular day-in and day-out basis, but why is no one discussing the increased weekly line requirements. It's a pretty significant jump.  ...

Has Our Minimum Line Requirement Changed?
Nov 19, 2014

It is still 150 lines/hr for straight isn't it?  (I think I've gotten a total of 3 straight transcription jobs in the last month).  So, is it 150 lines for VR too, which is what the majority of our work is?  Or is the line requirement much higher for VR?  This is all assuming there is work of course........ ...

Starting Today, I Will Never Look At FIESA Again.
Dec 13, 2012

It only makes me fearful. It doesn't teach me anything except that the losers in QA don't know how to do their jobs.  I've let FIESA ruin too many of my days.  I'm just going to log on, do my best, and let it go.  If my boss has anything to say to me she can call me.  Every day I'm applying for jobs elsewhere.  When I find one I'm taking it. Not only am I not giving any notice, but when I find a new job I'm not even going to call or sen ...

Flat 4 Cents A Line Starting Feb 1???
Jan 15, 2011

Noticed in the MQ MT "rewards" plan  (wow I can't even type that w/o laughing), that as of Feb 1 the pay will be a flat 4 cents per line for ASR.  It does say this applies to new hires only; however, it says if hired prior to Feb 1 the editing  rate will be "equal to the greater of 60% of the transcription base rate."    What does "equal to or greater of 60%" mean exactly?  Does that just mean 60% of your regular straight transcription rate like it is now?&nbs ...

Fluency Line Count

Trick On Fluency With Line Count
Apr 15, 2015

I discovered this recently and thought I would share. I always used to punch out to go to the bathroom or anytime I would get up so that my inactive time would not build. I figured out today if you upload a job and don't hit enter again to download the next one Fluency is in limbo. Meaning the inactive time is not being counted against you. SOOO if you need to go throw in that load or laundry or use the bathroom upload the job you are working on but don't download the next one. L ...

Medicare 1500 Form Question
Aug 27, 2014

Can anybody PLEASE tell me the correct way to put a patient's last name on the 1500 form for a Medicare patient when the last name has three parts separted by spaces, i.e. AA BB CCC, FirstName, MI, which is the exact way the name is on the patient's Medicare card. Medicare denied the claim. Then we put the last name as AABBCCC, but it was denied again. I had a similar problem a few months ago when a patient had a suffix after the last name and was able to call Medicare and was given sp ...

Wow, My Line Count Is Soaring Today.
Jul 12, 2014

Compared to the pittance I normally do. I normally work nights, and whoa, the dictation is so much better during the day, shockingly so! Guess this is where the good work is - the daytime. Not the nighttime when doctors are tired and mumbly and seem to be the low-ranking physicians. I am not getting the amount of ESLs that I usually do here during the daytime. They really should not have taken the shift differential away, because I deserve the combat pay from the work I am seeing in the dayt ...
