Fluency training today. The trainer said to be OFF - the clock when checking Fluency manager.

Are they serious? We are to use Fluency manager on our own time, unpaid? I'm glad I recorded the call or I wouldn't have believed it.

I was in training today too and heard this. I was actually - surprised they would say that out loud.

I forget the exact words but something like if you're not producing it will make you look like you're slow during that time (and obviously wage will go down). In reality, it equates to point blank telling you to manipulate your time card (for THEIR benefit). Unbelievable.

you should be clocked in. That's how it works at every other job in the country... They're walking a fine legal line if that's what they're telling you.

Anytime I've had a training, I've been told to use "conference call" rather than production time as that will interfere with line counts/production.

In this day and age why does there have to be a set time of training??? I'm sorry i'm just frustrated. I don't want to go into detail should it give away my identity but there is just no time in my day TWO DAYS IN A FREAKING ROW for up to 5 hours of training. I have worked for this company before in different capaciites and have never had to have 10 hours of training over a 2 day span. Unbelieveable. /rant Thanks for letting me vent. ...

At first I was speeding up the dictation but found that it was impossible to correct while listening to the voice. My trainer encourages us to correct and listen at the same time. However, when speeding up the voice, that become impossible and I have to stop the dictation to make the corrections. So, just out of curiosity, what do you do??...do you speed it up and stop every time you make a correction or do you correct while keeping the dictation going? ...and What is more helpful in bring ...

Skilled: I've read everything you posted and thanks for the response. I suspected this because I thought "I know I typed that correctly" but this time I saw it happen. I'm doing a standard report and typed metaphyseal awl, but Fluency changed it to metaphyseal scar, it just changed period. How does that happen? Lord have mercy, I really hate this system. ...

Loaded 7.4 on my own computer. Downloaded and put icon on desktop but I am unable to open it. I sometimes will have this problem if I load links from MM through IE. I used Chrome and FireFox but still unable to open... Spoke to techs in India and they said it is because I'm using my own computer and to contact a domestic tech through my TSM. You guys know so much so I thought I would send this out to you :) Anyone?? ...
