inquiring about any job openinings. I didn't catch that they were now with MModal.
notice they also offer free MT training?
how does our government allow this when you think about HIPAA - is that just more hypocrisy? what kind of transcription do they do if this letter is any indication for quality.
yet we as US MTs are held to the strictest regulations for HIPAA and quality.
actually, I believe when EHRs are complete, there probably will be no more transcription as we know it, especially that can be done remotely.
what will happen to all these overseas workers? I wonder if they know their jobs are in jeopardy now also.
I have seen the templates for the new EHRs, and how a doctor is going to just point and click rather than dictate (in the future yes but not so far away). The government pays doctors and hospitals to start implementing these new programs, and although MT may be still needed, how would that be able to be done remotely?
