Anyone else have problems getting a response - from their CCM?
Posted: Feb 05, 2010
I sent to emails and two voice mails, one marked urgent-no response. Anyone have this issue?

If you look on MQ Central - if no response within 24 hours, go to the next level up. I would forward both of the emails, along with documentation (i.e., 2/5, 2:30 pm, left message)of your messages, to your Area Director. No response within 24 from the AD? Go to Regional Director.
so funny - you are on your own

Here is a suggestion. The next 10 times you contact your CCM don't complain. Then she will answer the phone every time you call. Good Luck!

I don't know if this pertains to the original poster, but...I've often posted messages here about not contacting your supervisor for every little QA "ding." If I was a supervisor and you were one of "those" I would ignore you. Kinda like the boy who cried wolf. You totally clog up the e-mails with silly stuff, then when you need them for real, you wonder why they don't respond. Of course, legitimate questions regarding confusing feedback is different from getting all bent out of shape regarding a correction in your report. I get "dinged" all the time and just carry on. I think I've contacted a supervisor 5 times in the past 6 months regarding QA feedback, and at that, they were legitimate questions because I got confused.
I am not and never was a complainer and have always, always, always gotten a fast response to phone calls and e-mails.
All who are reading, take note here. You know who you are.
Rediculous!!!!!! - tell ya what

I will send an e-mail to the sup or place a phone call any darn time I wish as that is their job!
I don't care if it is in reference to MQ policy, no work, insane MME "dings" or anything else I feel is important.
If the MMEs did their job, we would not have to report their "dings" which obviously are being brought up because they affect patient care!
I do realize that the only people that are held accountable for their work are the MTs, but hey... just keep teaching them how to treat us why dont ya!
Come on down off your high horse and roll around in the dirt like the rest of us.

You're very comical. Here's to me getting a response to my e-mails and you-types not. I rest my case.

Yeah, and on the flipside, we get about 500 E-mails a day back from them. :-)
I only contact my supervisor if necessary. When she sends out a mass E-mail, I see how many names she has on her list to send a cc to. She has got to be one busy person with a lot of people to supervise.
I've never debated any of my feedback, even if I've disagreed with it but this is a client profile issue and I want to get it resolved, so do I go to my direct supervisor, or the one who used to be a CTL and is now an MME? And the MME I'm familiar with - is she the one I contact?
What angers me so much about the Q is that they add a position, delete 2 positions, change names of positions, modify positions. It's really hard to know who to ask when you have a question. And if you ask the wrong person, you get snapped at.
When we get mass emails, it does not say how - many others it was sent

to, just "undisclosed recipients" which I have always wondered about.
I totally agree about the position changes. I never know who beyond my CCM to contact about different things. One thing I will say, I have only been with the company just over a year, have had in that time 3 or 4 different CCMs~what is up with that? I miss my last one right now.
I am not a complainer, and I have asked for - clarification about QA maybe

3 or 4 times. When I asked, I asked in a very nice "please clarify which of us is correct so that I can be sure to do it right" kind of way. I just know I am getting frustrated and paranoid.
Thanks, I guess I will give her until Monday and - then escalate it, IF I can
I'm just curious if others are in the same boat as I am. I have almost 10 years experience as an MT, both acute care and clinic, and I have been sending my resume to many of the job postings on this board. I think I have received two replies out of probably 20 resumes sent. Is this pretty much the way it is for others, or do I need to tweak my resume? Thanks! ...
"You might want to consider re-wording your job posting and re-think your position as you can find yourself in serious trouble with the IRS regarding requiring an independent contractor to work a set schedule. You are wanting an employee, not an independent contractor, if that contractor has to work a set schedule and 'has to work over.' The IRS will come down pretty hard on you...especially if someone sends them a copy of your job posting. So you understand ...
Has anyone been able to get a response from DIT? Please let me know because I certainly have not. This place is the worst. What is really terrible is that continue to keep hiring new MTs and promise them that everything is now okay. They are just a bunch of people not telling the truth. ...
Just thought you all would like to read this response to a resume I recently sent out.... and what would your feelings be concerning what you read?
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in providing Transcription services for our company. I have received your resume.
I have put some information in the body of the email as well as attached our templates and sample reports so you can see what the reports look like.
I would like to mention to you a few things so you can make an info ...
Does anyone out there have a suggestion as to what a "prompt" response should be for a resume that was sent out? I do not like waiting weeks or months to get a response. ...
"An exercise stress test was performed and she was able to exercise for approximately 8 minutes, utilizing a brief protocol, to a maximum heart rate of 156 per minute. It was an appropriate (s/l anatropic or maybe autotrophic) response." I am unsure what word he is dictating here. ...
Yeah for sure. what goes does it do to send resumes to these jobs posted here, when you get NO response... I realize they have more resumes than they can probably go through, but when they look at the top of your resume (where it should be) and see you have had over 25 years experience - you think they'd contact you first, yeah whatever. Not sure, but know MT jobs are scarce!! ...
about wage disputes? I emailed two days ago about a payment I was supposed to receive the 15th (and still have not), and have not heard about any kind of resolution or anything and of course no pay still and no check in the mail. ...
About to send off this e-mail to my ROM or whatever she's calling herself these days....Subject: QA questions, just to be sure I have it straight....
We really, REALLY need to get a ruling from the client on this stuff. In writing.
In the last missive I got from QA, I was told that the only symbol allowed on ***** was the percent sign; thus, if they dictated 2+, I was to type 2 plus.
Aside from the fact that I've been typing plus signs on ***** reports for 4 ye ...
Sorry...you had asked me a question but I've been away for a couple days. Yes, Home Health/Hospice is more flexible as far as scheduling. For the most part, we set up our own schedules, call the patients ourselves with times we expect to be there, and then if by some chance we get done early we aren't required to hang around to get our 8 hours in.
That being said, it's a brutal job. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have some solid acute ca ...
"MedQuist/M-Model was certified in March 2012. We did receive a list of workers whose positions were affected due to trade. I've sent out a few resumes over the past year in hopes of landing a different MT job than the one I have now. Only ONE place (a hospital I would dearly love to work for!) even acknowledged my application. The others? NOTHING. Even though they continued to run ads for the same job I had applied for. I never even got to test for any of them.
So.... fast forward a few months (or years). Suppose one of these no-response companies kept my resume and out ...
Got to thinking about this, wouldn't this be something agreed upon (contract?) before starting with the company? Otherwise, threatening to fire you for not responding to an email sounds like a ripe labor law violation. Wrongful termination? Bait and switch? Plain unethical. ...

Anyone see the ad on this and another job board about needing an MT who speaks FRENCH? What the heck has our industry come to that MTSOs will suck up to any foreigner and do ANYTHING whether it's right or not just to make a fast buck. The medical record is supposed to be on the chart in English in this country for legal reasons. I hope if anyone here speaks French they DON'T apply. Let's keep to American values!

company and my pay was cut 23% at one time. You say good management-this company has a rep for this kind of stuff. Do you think it is good management when accounts run out of work daily because they are only overflow (almost all accounts with this company are overflow) and are overstaffed to stay in TAT-I had 5 accounts and still didn't have enough work? Do you like pulling teeth to get work and/or answers because there is only 1 (ONE) person dishing out work who has the persona ...
Is anyone familiar with a term that sounds like filvic response or philvic response? I cannot find in any of my resource dictionaries, probably because I am misspelling it. Thank you for any help. ...
I have gotten a very good response to my resume on here. It seems things might be loosening up a bit. Do other people feel that way also. I think I got about 7 responses in a week or so. That isnt bad. I havent decided what I want to do yet but I felt good about that. ...
Blondie, Opti-Script does allow satellite. They have a few openings on the Job Board right now and although it does not say that in their ads, when you go to their website it says satellite allowed but not preferred. Also Precyse allows satellite but I do not recommend that company. But maybe that's just me! Good luck! ...
Although I didn't reply to her job offer I think it was very nice for her to post and explain why she couldn't respond to everyone. Sounds like a caring employer. ...
after they read your resume? I just got a very rude response and told her I was not going to waste my time working for her if she could not even treat me decently at the very first contact. ...
