I would love to know how people are handling this new NJA policy. As I understand it, if we get NJA during our work schedule, we are supposed to keep checking back for work through our shift. We are allowed to work at any time up until midnight to get in our hours for the day without approval. A couple weeks ago someone on here mentioned that we do not have to use our PTO for NSA. She advised me to contact HR, which I did, who also told me the policy is we do NOT have to use our PTO for NSA. When we got the New Work Availiability Policy last week I replied and made a suggestion that they go back to the idea of a 12-hour shift within which to get your 8 hours.
