Went to Wal Mart and bought a new keyboard. It is a Logitech. The keys are not flushed and flat. The keys on the one sent with my computer were so close together that I couldn't tell which key I was hitting. This one is much better.

I dont have a lot of money and will probably continue to use my old one with all the letters worn off. Maybe they will send new keyboards for MT week, or a gift card so I can get one.

I have a Logitech also. Can't remember for sure the price but I think it was $20.00. I like it. I've had it maybe a few months.

Mine was only $15 at K-Mart. They also had some for $10 which looked okay but I chose the Logitech because I have had good luck with their products in the past.

Last couple of years didn't even know when MT week was because they didn't have anything announced. My 2nd year here I did all the games and drawings and won a Tiffany bracelet that was worth about $400. Of course we have to pay the taxes on them through our next pay period. But, it is really pretty. I gave it to a friend as a present. I don't wear bracelets. And my keyboard cost $60 from office depot, the microsoft ergonomic keyboard. They have curved microsoft keyboards that are good at walmart too for $20.

Microsoft has discontinued these great keyboards and I need a new one. Anybody aware of a split keyboard that has a really nice touch (remember those old IBM keyboards?) for transcription work by Microsoft or another brand that you really like? Has anybody worked for Alltype (Jerry Kelly) in the past in NJ? Apparently they were bought out by Medquist or M*Modal in 2012. I worked very briefly for Alltype in 2011 and then moved on to brighter horizons, although they reported to the IRS that I earned 4x what is actually on my W2 and according to my bank records.
