watch the commas and semis also..but if you misspell a drug name, condition, or equipment name no worries. Must not be a problem cause I see it ALL the time in docqumanage.

If you don't know how to properly use a/an, then you don't belong in this field.

As for "the," inserting or omitting it will not make you fail a report. You will hardly every get any points off for missing/inserting "the."

If you get points off for those types of errors, you need to challenge it. You should not be getting any points off for your examples. However, auditors do have to capture those errors. If we don't, then it comes back on us when we get reviewed, which I don't think the MT's realize. We don't capture every little thing just to make your life hell, we do it because we get audited, too, just like you do. If we don't capture an error and follow the rules, then we can get fired instead of you!

Omitting or adding the, a/an can fail you. - stupidity

It is the auditor's whim to call those words omitted/inserted. 2 of those "errors" will cause failure. "Adding" an extra space can also l lead to failure. It is amongst the 0.25 error values in the rating explanation column. 2 minor errors, and you have failed. I have had this happen to me more than 1 time.

Spacing errors will NOT fail you. You should be receiving no point value for spacing errors. If you do, you need to take it upon yourself and challenge the auditor. Inserting/omitting words will only get you points off if it changes the meaning of the sentence or is grammatically incorrect. If it makes no difference, such as "the patient" v. "patient," there is no point value.

Is it just my accounts, or has anybody else noticed that their BOB/POD quality metrics have taken a nosedive since they started these PODs? Previously, my BOB would be in the green constantly and we would get praise for it. Now, all I ever see is red..too many criticals, too many major and minor errors. MM's ASR output is so extra bad today I am going to (well, already) scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is even worse than yesterday. I ran an error report for all reports, all accounts on my platform for this quarter, 10/1 - 10/18. So far the Quality Index is 84% vs Quality Score 99.18%. Didn't they advertise this new error scoring as working out in our favor? Doesn't look like it to me. This is based on 2194 jobs and 105,358 lines audited on E5. Here I am, getting shuffled around in the 'cesspool', a dozen unfamilar accounts. You have your decent accounts with just the basics. Then, you have the CPs that are a long as novels and, if you miss something, you will hear about it, the fact it is in the CP and you shouldn't make such a mistake.
