i know this has been mentioned in here, but what is up with whole sections of a note done by ASR being missing? its bad enough that we get paid nothing to do this ASR crap, but when we have to actually transcribe whole sections we should be getting paid at the straight typing rate. i'm so close to just wiping out these ASR dictations and just typing them but i don't know how to do that...to change it from ASR to regular. i'm sure i'd get yelled at anyway. i'm about to call out sick, i'm so sick of this.

Each F11 done shows up in a report that goes to your TSM. If you don't notify your TSM of F11 and give a reason, you _will_ get a nasty email. If you do F11 more than once or twice a year, you will be told you are using F11 excessively and threatened with being disciplined. The writer of some of the CPs had the gall to include absolutely no F11 is to be used, so you will then get credit for falling an audit with a critical error.

I know many of these facts from experience, except for falling an audit. I was informed I was using F11 to much. This was over a year ago before we were told to never use F11 and before the insane 99.5 QA. About 6 months ago I did get a nasty email for forgetting to send a note to the TSM about an F11 I did for gibberish output.

Before IT going to India, you could let IT know about ASR problems and they would work with you. I quit filing Remedy tickets a long time ago because they call me at the crack of dawn even though I inform them of when they can call me plus my time zone. (I work 2nd shift.) Then they want more to reinstall Fluency because " there must be something wrong with my computer". ????!!!! There actually is a place in Remedy to report ASR problems.

I have stated deleting the HPI and some other parts pot the report because I am so much more accurate straight typing, and faster too.

My accounts have really good ASR, however, we have one doctor, who is a good dictator with good sound quality, and yet ASR simply cannot get his reports even close to what he is saying and generally only puts out 1 or 2 lines when his dictations can be quite a bit longer than that. A year or so ago, I did F11 and reported it to Remedy. Of course nothing got fixed and I'm not about to waste time reporting to anyone every time I get one of his reports. I can tell immediately when I open it based on how much ASR output there is and the length of the dictation if it is going to be completely inaccurate so I just F11 and move on.

If I get any report that I get a few lines into it and see the same problem, I open notepad and copy what I have into there, hit F11, and then recopy back into the document, and move on.

I don't report to anyone and I have never been asked about it. One statistic report showed I had 11 of them but never a word from my HDSM. I think I have probably the nicest most laid back HDSM in the company. I am sure she knows I would not be using F11 unless it were necessary. I also use F11 if a report comes in that is a standard but has come in as ASR. Yes, I could highlight it all and delete, but F11 is faster and the job should have come in that way anyway.

I have good work ethics, good stats, and I just refuse to play all their games. If they don't trust me to do my job right, I can always go work somewhere else.

when I have to make a bunch of corrections, I copy the whole report into my shortcut file, F11 and put it back in..They dont pay me to fix the majority of a report. Haven't been called on it yet

Here I am, getting shuffled around in the 'cesspool', a dozen unfamilar accounts. You have your decent accounts with just the basics. Then, you have the CPs that are a long as novels and, if you miss something, you will hear about it, the fact it is in the CP and you shouldn't make such a mistake. I already spend so much time reading CPs, that I then get warnings that my production has fallen. So much for a consistent layout of CPs. I have to hunt for desired PE format, etc... ...

Just found out new policy is THREE sick days per year. It doesn't matter if you have leave or not. WTF? Are they serious? they decide to do the "nice" thing and spell it out ONLY to SLUR ALL THE WAY through the medication so that you have absolutely NO idea what medication they are trying to say.
