Remedy Ticket, please explain - Rusty

I have never put in a remedy tic for out of work time. Is that what it is for? Can someone explain to me how to do it and when to do it? Do I do it when I run out of work or can I do it sometime that same day? I have no more vac days to take. I have 6 accounts (and new ones added on this week with no training, no old reports to look at, nada and told to just do them and send to QA for blanks, REALLY?). I am at a loss of how to do the ticket. How many can you submit in a week? Do you get paid for remedy tickets? Sorry so many questions, but as I said never submitted one before.
I just wish they hadn't bought out my old company. At least they were honest with me and told us what was going to happen, always keep us updated, but hey, we were actual people there, not just fingers on a keyboard.
you use remedy for several things - out of work is one of them
[ In Reply To ..]First, you have to be logged on to fluency for a full 6 minutes of NJA. Then, you fill out remedy ticket by "report a problem" and then "no jobs available." After filing out the ticket, you will get a ticket number. Write that down. Go into schedule source and adjust time clock under project tasks to work availability, enter the time for the 6 minutes you had NJA, and in comments, add the ticket number. Then you get paid for the 6 minutes at your states minimum wage. You will have to make up any time during the rest of the week before saturday at midnight and if you dont, you have to use PTO or enter a request for unpaid time, which you have something like 104 hours available.

And I am not going to call support and waste my time waiting on them. Thought I would file a ticket regarding the fact that QASAR has not been working right for some time. You can't see the whole report. It will not scroll, and if you click on a QA input marker, you might get down to that marker, but then, you cannot get back up in the report. I submitted my first ticket for an F11 and got a call back within the MINUTE! Qcare person said they had NO IDEA what it was for, what F11 was or what they were suppose to do with the incident report, put me on hold to ask someone else about it then suggested I call someone for technical support if it was an ASR issue. I read and re-read the emailing and followed the instructions to the "T". This is just laughable, and yet I hope I don't get my head chopped off for the F11 ...

I just spent about 1/2 hour with an Indian tech guy for him to clear DQS so I could sign in again. He gave me a ticket number. What do I do with that? Usually whenever things like this happen, my CCM takes care of it, we just notify her, but she is off for a week. Do I report this incident in Remedy with the ticket number? Anyone wishing to start a new career, right now may be a good time to apply at Home Depot. If an account has been offshore for almost 1 year and is being transcribed by an offshore MT and qa'd by 2 separate offshore qa and then 1 American qa.......where are they actually saving money?
