Like the person above said, it's not your fault the system is down. We get paid for anytime it's their fault we can't work (except NJA).

so I just signed in and changed the time to when I signed out and marked it system down with a note to manager...guess thats the right way
I clock out usually minutes later cause I always check to make sure it is not the ISP - and leave a - alphamt

Then clock back in after take a break, and ask that I be compensated for length of downtime. Also open Remedy ticket and place ticket number in message. CCM works well with this. She can then create a separate entry for it.

I already punched out and was able to get into Remedy and file a ticket for not being able to download any jobs.
And I am not going to call support and waste my time waiting on them. Thought I would file a ticket regarding the fact that QASAR has not been working right for some time. You can't see the whole report. It will not scroll, and if you click on a QA input marker, you might get down to that marker, but then, you cannot get back up in the report.
I just love (not) our off shore IT. There have been 100x more problems since IT went 99% off shore than then entire 7 years previous to that ...
I have never put in a remedy tic for out of work time. Is that what it is for? Can someone explain to me how to do it and when to do it? Do I do it when I run out of work or can I do it sometime that same day? I have no more vac days to take. I have 6 accounts (and new ones added on this week with no training, no old reports to look at, nada and told to just do them and send to QA for blanks, REALLY?). okay, I apologize. Finally found out how to place a ticket on Remedy. I'm just so mad that I could have caught up on some zzzzz's if I had known I'd be sitting here for 1-1/2 hours waiting for work. After trying a million passwords, finally found out that it's our number from our paystubs we use when going on remedy to create a ticket. ...
Does anyone know how to convert wma file to DSS file? I am using Express Scribe but, for some unknown reason, the sound quality is very poor. I thought if I could convert this to DSS it would sound better on my computer. Any ideas? Also, anyone know what else I could use besides Express Scribe (free) to play these files? THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I submitted my first ticket for an F11 and got a call back within the MINUTE! Qcare person said they had NO IDEA what it was for, what F11 was or what they were suppose to do with the incident report, put me on hold to ask someone else about it then suggested I call someone for technical support if it was an ASR issue. I read and re-read the emailing and followed the instructions to the "T". This is just laughable, and yet I hope I don't get my head chopped off for the F11 ...
I just spent about 1/2 hour with an Indian tech guy for him to clear DQS so I could sign in again. He gave me a ticket number. What do I do with that? Usually whenever things like this happen, my CCM takes care of it, we just notify her, but she is off for a week. Do I report this incident in Remedy with the ticket number? You have to do the QCare thing when you get NJA. Then, they send you a ticket number. Great. What do you do with the stupid ticket number? Are you entered in a drawing? Do they pick random ticket numbers and award the winner some work?
