How do you submit ticket to Remedy for no work - New to This

I do not even know how to access Remedy. Where are the instructions to do this? I received the new no-work instructions as well and need help.

Sorry, I am quite new to this and it is very confusing.

Go to Remedy and put in your - payroll # (not your MT#)

your password should be the same as your password for Ipswitch or your e-mail. You click on report a problem, then click on "No jobs available" Then you fill in the date, the number of hours left in your shift and whether you want to make up time or PTO. This is probably clear as mud, but maybe it will get you in the right direction. :-)

If you go on the Intranet, you will find the link to Remedy under the Popular Links on the home page.

For instructions on how to use it, go to Departments, Human Resources, Policies, and in the bottom right-hand corner click on Work Availability. There are screen shots and information there that should help you fill out a ticket correctly.

I have not done it yet, but I am headed in the right direction.

As I see it, there are 2 options. Make up the time missed and PTO. First, I do not have any PTO at the moment. Last pay period, at the end, I lost over 15 hours during the week due to snow storms and the facilities being closed. You can't make up 15 hours at the end of the pay period. Told to stay off backup accounts due to low work volume.

This is driving me crazy. All of the accounts in this BOB are in Indiana. Big snow storms the last 2 weeks and low to no work on all accounts. There will be no making up time. When we had this problem prior to coming to MM, all was forgiven if the low/no work could be verified. MM management is going to have to figure this out.

I have never put in a remedy tic for out of work time. Is that what it is for? Can someone explain to me how to do it and when to do it? And I am not going to call support and waste my time waiting on them. Thought I would file a ticket regarding the fact that QASAR has not been working right for some time. You can't see the whole report. It will not scroll, and if you click on a QA input marker, you might get down to that marker, but then, you cannot get back up in the report. I submitted my first ticket for an F11 and got a call back within the MINUTE! Qcare person said they had NO IDEA what it was for, what F11 was or what they were suppose to do with the incident report, put me on hold to ask someone else about it then suggested I call someone for technical support if it was an ASR issue. I just spent about 1/2 hour with an Indian tech guy for him to clear DQS so I could sign in again. He gave me a ticket number. What do I do with that? Usually whenever things like this happen, my CCM takes care of it, we just notify her, but she is off for a week. Do I report this incident in Remedy with the ticket number? You have to do the QCare thing when you get NJA. Then, they send you a ticket number. Great. What do you do with the stupid ticket number? Are you entered in a drawing?
