Anyone else feeling completely suffocated and set up for failure (sm) - confused

being so micromanaged? I usually do not run out of work but due to no work for 1 day back a few weeks ago I have been slammed with 30+ accounts and not a day goes by that I do not get client profile updates for at least 1 of them. Some of these accounts I haven't even worked on yet and I am getting changes to the client profile. How is anyone capable of remembering so many different rules plus changes to the rules you didn't know in the first place. We must make our line count so when are we to read these several-page client profiles???? I've been doing this job for many years and I know I am good at it. Never did I have a problem with my line count, working my schedule, passing audits, knowing the company policy for different situations. My line count is down, I failed my last audit with a 99%, I feel like a fish out of the water not knowing what the policy is for anything, I get butterflies in my stomach every morning before work just thinking about the day I will be putting in, and all of this for less money. I just want to do my job and get paid for it without being punished.

I look at CP as needed during report, but if something isn't in there, don't worry about it. If they can't do their job, whose fault is it.

I made cheat sheets for the CPs which are much easier to read and just do the best I can. It is horrible what they expect from us.

I feel the same way. I get nervous before I start working also, and I have bveen doing this job for 10+ years. There is so much to remember. Every account that I'm on is totally different. My line count is down also.

It gets so bad some days that I cannot remember the CP for my "usual" accounts. - LOL

I have done cheat sheets in the past, but every time I do, those accounts disappear. So, I quit doing that and just glance at the CP just about every time.

I have received a TON of client this-and-that extras, even to the point my QA has put them in attachments "so it is easier for us to remember". Forget it. There are (literally) 20 attachments. My mantra is, "if it isn't in the CP, too bad" (do your job and put it in the CP)

Add to that, I have only encountered 1 CP in my entire time here that was actually properly formatted so that it was easy to find everything I needed.

The biggest thing that drives me crazy is the little notes in the CP that say to consult the work type or doctor specific instructions, and there are none! LOL

It's so crazy, it is laughable. I score their CPs a lenient 70% quality. Oops, they just failed their quality audit. LOL

but i know what you mean. I get something back corrected, then i start doing it that way, then get corrected for doing it the way i was told to do it. very frustrating.

I just can't get over this 99 point whatever it is for accuracy. I. am. Not. a. ROBOT!!! Oh it just makes me crazy!

you put so much stress on me with unrealistic expectations, then fire me and then you can give me money for NOT working for you anymore. perfect logic.

She is taking diclofenac and we realize that while this can ____________ some renal failure, has been absolutely necessary thus far to control her pain. She is having no abdominal pain. I am so sick of these dictations that are less than 60 seconds long, pay from .08 to .24 cents each that require 3 minutes of unpaid work to set up.
